PVA Products
PVA is a water soluble material that is of great utility to anglers. It can be had formed into mesh or solid bags or into tape or string.
The bags are filled
with any dry bait along with the lead (sinker) and the hook and its bait. The
bag is tied shut (or licked and stuck for the Lick 'N' Stick bags) and cast out.
The bag quickly dissolves upon hitting the water and leaves a nice pile of bait
right around your hook. The bags dissolve only in water and can be filled with
any oil-based liquid as well as with dry baits. Sinking fish pellets are great
in PVA bags.

The
PVA tape and string is used to close off the bags and also to make stringers of
boilies or other baits. The Fox Stringer Needle (AC7967) is used for this
purpose. Six or so boilies are strung onto the needle and a double strand or
tape or string is pulled through them. The loop of PVA is put around the hook
and the stringer is cast out. Again the result is to leave a bile of bait around
your hook.
