Designed to be used with the Aventa Center Pin Reels, these rods deliver extended drag-free drifts, precise finesse presentations and optimum line protection. The blanks are lightweight and responsive thanks to IM-6 graphite construction. All three models have aluminum oxide guide inserts, genuine cork grips for fishing comfort and rubber butt caps. Model VT-S-136-FR-2 has a full-length cork grip with graphite slip rings. Other models have reel seats with cushioned hoods and rosewood-style inserts.

The Horizon Distance Spod rod builds on the exceptional pedigree of our Horizon range to produce a blank that will cast the largest of spods as far as is physically possible. In testing this rod has cast a fully loaded TB1 spod weighing over 7ozs in excess of 140 yards. This is a specialist tool and is best suited to anglers casting spods with a loaded weight in excess of 4ozs. Smaller, lighter spods simply don't compress the blank enough to get the best out of it. This is a powerhouse of a rod that will genuinely reach previously unachieved distances with medium to large spods. Utilising Fox Tri-Lites, our unique distance guides with low profile, high performance inserts housed within a stainless steel triple leg frame. These are designed to be extremely strong but also exceptionally lightweight. With 9 ball bearings these powerful work horses have excellent line-lay and have been built to last.
The quality of the fully adjustable freespool facility and precision front drag are just two of the features which set them apart from the competition.
A slow oscillation means line-lay is superb which improves casting potential as well as promoting greater line longevity. Two line reducers are supplied: a standard one and minimiser for lower diameters or braid.

The Fox Stratos FS 10000E is the result of 3 years research and design.
Identical sizing to the FS 10000, the 10000E has a graphite body and spool and is considerably lighter than its fore bearer.

The 9 ball bearings and precise gearing creates a smooth, reliable reel.

20 coils of line are placed on the spool per linear oscillation creating excellent line-lay and casting performance.

A freespool facility at the rear of the reel can be adjusted through a range of tensions. Finally, the price can only be described as offering incredible value for money.
