We all know that spending on our hobbies is a virtue and this section is where one can virtuously "spend without measure."

Reel, Fox Stratos 12000FS

This eye-catching new 12000 FS is a direct replacement for our old Stratos FS12000 reel, which has proved so popular in recent years. The FS features a hardwearing graphite body, which is not only strong but also surprisingly light too. The reels could be best described as workhorses and in fact during the testing process Fox consultant Ian ‘Chilly’ Chillcott won the World Carp Champs in America using them! Chilly really put them through their paces taking 122 hard-fighting carp from the mighty St. Lawrence river with partner Lee Jackson on his way to becoming crowned champion of the world!

The Free Spool facility at the rear of the reel is an incredibly handy feature as it disables the main clutch to allow line to be taken smoothly when a carp picks up your hookbait and bolts off. Then by simply turning the reel handle the Free Spool will disengage leaving you to play the fish on the main clutch.

The FS features a stylish black handle, spool and bail arm and really does look like a reel of twice its price!
