Unlike conventional bubble floats where there is a risk of damaging your line, especially when using very low breaking strains, these In-line bubble floats feature no edges for the line to rub against and are totally ‘fish friendly’ providing a facility to semi fix the controller. The oval shape casts superbly and the addition of water allows the casting weight to be varied.

The Fox Weed Marker has been purpose designed to cope with the rigours of
feature finding on venues which have large expanses of weed growth. The buoyancy added to the top end of the body helps the float to rise in all but the thickest growth and the interchangeable flights ensure that when the float does come up, it is highly visible in all weather conditions. For really heavy weed growth, the vaned tops can prove problematic and a more streamlined option is preferable. For this reason the Weed Marker can be fitted with one of three interchangeable ‘weed caps’ - these are designed without flights to allow smooth float ascent in really thick weed. With no angles or edges to hang up in weed, the float rises easily to the surface where the 3 colour options allow it be easily seen in all conditions.

The Fox Micro Marker has been designed to locate subtle undulations and features in the lakebed at close to medium range, with leads in the 2-3oz bracket. Engineered to be highly sensitive, robust and versatile, the Micro Marker is perfect for finding those tiny areas which are often overlooked by other anglers and that can be perfect places to trap pressured carp.

This Marker Kit contains all the components required to create a highly sensitive and versatile plumbing set up. Micro Markers have been designed to locate subtle undulations and features in the lakebed at close to medium range, in conjunction with light leads. The three floats are coloured black for white water conditions, fluoro orange for general use and fluoro yellow which is best when cast against dark, shady areas such as island margins and tree canopies. Blow moulded from durable high impact plastic and fitted with a perma-fix base swivel, Micro Markers are built to perform and built to last. The floats are designed to be used with the supplied Slik Ring Kit which improves plumbing performance. The Slik Ring has a low friction ceramic centre which allows the float to rise to the surface with the minimum of resistance. The ring is stopped by a high-diameter rubber bead and a pair of Speed Links allow quick change attachment of lead and float. Explorer feature finding leads have been specifically designed to transmit vibration and feel as the lead travels along the bottom. Use the Explorer lead and stem when plumbing terrain such as silt and weed; this helps to prevent the Slik Ring clogging which can stop the float from rising. For most firm lakebeds the standard Explorer Lead is suitable. The Fox Horizon Marker has been designed specifically for locating underwater features at long range. The super streamlined, fluted body has been CAD engineered for optimum aero dynamics allowing long, smooth casts to be made accurately and to great distance. Marker floats are essential for finding out what features lie in front of your swim. By carefully feeling around, and drawing the Discovery Float back, you can indentify patches of gravel, clay and silt as well as pinpointing bars and gullies - the underwater "highways" for carp.
