Do you have big dreams for the 2012 fishing season but a bank account that is holding you back? The Wacker B&T Layaway Plan will make it easy to get the gear you need with a payment plan to suit your budget.

How It Works

  • Shop online at or in the store.
  • Make a down payment of 20% of the cost of the goods plus a $10.00 Service Fee.
  • Make scheduled payments every two weeks with PayPal, your credit/debit card or money order.
  • Pick up or schedule delivery of the goods.

 The Details and the Fine Print

·       How long is the layaway contract? 12 weeks

·       Are there any fees? Yes, there is a $10 Service Fee.

·       How much is the down payment? It is 20% of the cost of the goods.

·       What are the payments?  There are 6 payments calculated from the balance due. The table below shows some sample payment schedules.

·       Can I cancel a layaway contract? Yes, you may cancel at any time. For stock items, you will receive a refund of payments made minus the Service Fee ($10.00) and a Cancellation Fee ($25.00). For Special Order items, you will receive a refund of payments made minus the Service Fee ($10.00) and a Cancellation Fee of either $25.00 or 25% of the cost of the items (whichever is greater).

·       What if I miss a payment? You have a 7 day grace period after your due date before your contract is cancelled and the items are returned to stock. Your payments minus the Service Fee will be refunded. The Cancellation Fees described above will also apply.

·       How can I make payments? You may pay with PayPal to, by credit card via the layaway payment option or by check/money order.

·       Which items are available for layaway purchase? All items listed for sale on are available. In addition, most goods from Fox International (, Gardner Tackle ( and a few other vendors are available by Special Order. Let us know what you want and we will do our best to get it. Please note that our suppliers are not always able to ship stock in a timely manner. If we are unable to get the items you want within a reasonable time frame, we refund all payments including the Service Fee.
